From our Secondary School days (Masya'allah, I was only 16 years old back then, when I fall in love with my man!!) to his NS days, my Turbanista days & until the present day..

My other better half.. Thru good & bad times, always.. Till Jannah.. Insya'allah.. Amin..

I still remember.. We were out on a date somewhere in town & had our virgin try on 1 of the fun photo booths together.. We ended up with a few pieces of black & white candid photos of us.. It was hilarious.. A couple who know nuts about using the photo booth (latest model some more LOL).. We laughed like nobody's business while the camera kept snapping our happy faces away..

Makes me smile reminiscing our "pak-tor" "zaman gemilang" days.. Sweet memories indeed..

To Health Promotion Board We Go..

Salam Jumaat everyone!!

So big boy was referred to HPB for a follow-up Eye Test..

Didn't know that HPB is a fun place for the kids to hangout.. Lots of educational health games & all.. Even I joined in the fun! Super cool place to be la actually..

And the part where my lil Garfield mistook a toy cabbage for a ball & kicked it all over the place, making a whole lot of a noise, haiyo.. Attract attention betol la ni budak kecik.. -.-"

So I guess we gotta get Asil a pair of glasses soon!

Big boy has in-born astigmatism on both eyes.. Just so you know, astigmatism is an eye condition with blurred vision as its main symptom..

Apparently for my big boy's case, the front surface of his eyes (cornea) aren't curved properly.. The curves are irregular.. So yup.. Big boy kena wear glasses liao.. Bo pian..

Putting this aside.. I smell the weekends comin'.. Woohoo!! Family bonding time!! (Note: Bukan Family "REBONDING" ok?! Rebonding tu as in Hair Straightening.. AHAHAHAHA!!)

Always love this song coz it never fails to bring flashback memories of what I went thru when I was a child till I reach adulthood..

Brings tears to my eyes knowing that He's always there for me thru thick & thin..

I may not have the kind of life where I can get anything; as & when I want.. But this I know, I am bless & thankful to have my better half who tries his very best to give his all, our 3 adorable children who light up our lives with their laughter & the darndest things they do, our humble crib & also, family members including a circle of friends who still keep in touch with me no matter how busy our lives may get..

I still have my job of 12 years.. Same company, same bosses but different assignment.. I'm glad that I no longer need to stress myself out during end months to do Closing & had to drag myself to work on weekends, bringing my babies along, just to get my Accounts done.. The only thing that I need to drag home with me everyday now is my Office Lappy.. Consider it as my 2nd baby next to Akil.. LOL

Working 5 days a week means more time for my family.. And I'm happy as it is..

And be given another chance time & time again to breathe & live my life with the ones I love, this is one of the most greatest blessings that I can never repay Him enough..

Forever, I am in His Debt..

Of Balek Kampong & Wedding..

Because wearing traditional Baju Kurongs to the cousins's wedding, under the scorching hot sun in Batu Pahat Malaysia are too mainstream.. LOL

Throwback photos of Paternal Aunt's kampong & her daughters's wedding..

Batu Pahat had changed alot for the past 15 years..

Miss being here, my Aunt's crib.. Miss spending time with her & the cousins.. We played fireworks/pop-pops, climbed trees, chasing around kampong chickens & went fishing for guppies at the longkang right behind her crib (I am officially a "Mak Jantan" back then LOL)..

Being there on the cousins wedding had given me those happy & fun flashback moments where I used to spend my school holidays here..

My one & only Paternal Aunt.. Love her to bits.. She, who never fails to "tapau" kampong fruits & veges for us to bring home.. May Allah keep an eye on her & family always..

Malay Aunty (Cik Sumrah) from the Garment Section gave me Kueh-Mueh & tidbits, Philipino lady (Joy) from the Ironer Section gave me a keychain with my name on it & as usual, Uncle Cleaner gave me an orange!!

I feel so blessed.. Trime kaseh Ya Allah.. =)

Life's A Test..

There comes a point in life when you reach a breaking point.

You're sick & tired of all the crap that's forcing its way into you.

Physically & mentally draining you.

You wish there's a way that could make it stop, but there isn't.

Dealing with the same thing, facing the same crap & there's just no way to escape.

And everytime when you try to brush it aside, it'll eventually comes rolling back to you & you just gotta deal with it whether you like it or not.

And you ask Allah,"Why me, O Allah? What's in me? For I am like a dried leave. Once crushed, it'll brittle away.."

And then, your heart replies back to you,"It's coz He loves you. He knows you're strong enough to pull thru & therefore He had chosen you to take up this Test & so when you pass His Test, His Reward awaits you in the HereAfter. Coz this world is nothing more than a Test for you to overcome.."

So please help me O Allah.. I need all the strength to pull thru..
