Al Fatihah To My Dear Uncle, Wak Mi...

As Salam Peepz...

Today's one of the saddest day of my life... I've lost one of those people whom I love so dearly... My uncle, Wak Mi (one of mom's youngest siblings)... My feelings? So many mixed emotions... Devastated, sad, hard to believe and still in a state of shock with question marks on my mind... Of all people, why him?

I was awaken this morning by mom who was screaming her voice out and was knocking frantically on my bedroom door saying, "Kaaaaak!! Bangon Kak!!"

So I opened the door (still in a sleepy daze) and caught mom crying, saying, "Wak Mi kau da tak de lagi Kak... Wak Mi, adek Mama da meninggal..."

Seriously, I was like in a state of distress plus shock upon hearing the news... I just breakdown... Cried... Didn't expect this coming... Not at all... Hubby too was in a daze... He managed to console me but being the 'emo' me, I couldn't really control this freaking tears coming out of me...

I love my Wak Mi... He was there when I ran away from home a few years back during my teenage years... He and his wife... They were always there to hear my problems and giving me advises... They were always there to support whatever decisions that I made in life... They were just some of those people who agrees with the man whom I chose to marry and be with... When people looked down upon my future husband (who is now my hubby), they were the ones who had given us the courage to pull thru and not bother about what others might say about us... Even till now...

And so, when the sad news came right infront of me saying that my uncle had passed away in the morning of today, I was totally devastated... I am devastated... Only Allah knows how I'm feeling right now... Knowing that one of those whom I love so dearly had left us all for good... He left behind a very good wife (Cik Tonah) who's now pregnant with his 3rd child, a daughter (Cousin Sutinah) and a son (Cousin Suhaidi)...

I now wonder how are they all gonna live; each without a husband and a father... I hope Allah gives them the courage to stay strong facing the people of this world and whatever future obstacles that might come along the way... Insya'allah... Amin...

We rushed to the Changi General Hospital just now but was too late to see Wak Mi's body... His body had already been sent over to the Singapore General Hospital for an autopsy... The situation in the hospital was a complete silent... All of my family members were there... Each with their own mixed emotions, sitting down moaning on the death of Wak Mi...

Right now, I'm at one of my aunt's (Mama Poi) home in Tampines... Chilled here for a while before all of us make our move to Wak Mi's home in Bedok for a little visit... I just wanna see my Cik Tonah and her children...

Can't really express how I'm feeling right now but I really need to let it out in this blog of mine... It's like a part of me had been torn apart to pieces... Of all people why him?

I Got Me A New Digital Camera... Woo Hoo!!

As Salam Peepz!!

How's everyone getting on? I hope your life has been beautiful and peaceful lately... =)

You know, in my previous blog entry I spoke about how my NIKON DigiCam went all faulty thanks to my little girl's "extra ordinary helpful" little fingers... hee hee... And now, thanks to her again [Trime kaseh wahai anak ku!!], I got me a new DigiCam!! Woo hoo!! Olympus FE46 (Light Blue)...

We bought it at Challenger, Jurong IMM for $198/-... The DigiCam comes with a 4GB Micro SD, a Tripod Stand, a Camera Case and a Screen Protector... What's more, it's a 12 Megapixel Camera with 5x Optical Zoom and a 2.7 inch LCD Screen... It's so worth it and I was so tempted by it that I couldn't resist the offer!! And since the hubby had given me the "green light" to proceed in purchasing it, aku apelagi, beli la...

Thanks Baba for your kind understanding... hee hee... Digital Camera is one of the gadgets that I can't live without...

Here's the photos that I took using my Olympus DigiCam while shopping at Jurong IMM with my family... Foooh!! Bile da beli tros pakai la sei... Cek tak sabo2 menunggu... hee hee...

P/S: How I wish that my babies would remain as they are now... Innocently sweet and cute little toddlers... They'll soon grow up into teenagers and that's where the real challenge begins for us, parents... Contoh mmg da banyak ade... In fact, we, parents had been to that stage before as teens... Hope we'll pull it thru, both hubby and I... Insya'allah, amin...

My 1st of Syawal... (I'm Baaaaaack!!)

As Salam Peepz!!

How's everyone getting on amidst this Hari Raya celebration? Sronok dpt jumpe sedare-mare dan sahabat-handai? Going from one house to another, for sure gerek kan dpt berkumpol ramai2?

Hari Raya for me was pretty much OK, alhamdulillah... There were a few good news that I heard while catching up on all those lost times with the relatives, and sadly, there were also a few unhappy ones (that had really touched my heart)... [To all of you, you know who you are: May Allah s.w.t shines His Grace and Mercy upon you. May He always be by your side in times of good and bad. Insya'allah, amin...]

My 1st day of Syawal was spent by visiting my in-laws who were staying at the same block as my parents (foooh!! senang siket kalau dok satu blok... tk yah ler g jaoh2... make-up kat muke aku pon tk cepat cair by de time sampai kat ruma sedare-mare yg lain... hee hee...) From there, we made our move to my dad's eldest bro's crib (my paternal grandma had long passed away so the eldest in dad's family, Pak Long, would be the next one in line...) who's living in the same neighbourhood. Had a little chit-chat and photo taking session with the cousins there. So from Pak Long's crib in Yishun, we went visiting my maternal grandma who's staying in Bedok...

Yishun to Bedok... Alaaaaaa... Chicken mak dodol je la... Dekat jugak per... Dari hujong tanjong ke hujong tanjong... lol... In our family car, we're packed up like sardines; bro (Alep), mom, dad, little bro (Adam), babies and me while hubby drove us there... ahahahaha!! So crampy but it was fun!! The best part was, everyone of us wore RED la sei... Fooooh!! Merah nyer Mak Nyah!! Well, not totally Red la for both mom and me coz baju kitorg ade camporan colour Pink siket... hee hee...

From visiting maternal grandma, we made our next move to Wak Mi's crib (one of mom's siblings) who's staying just 3 blocks away... By then, aku rase muke aku ni da mcm melekit siket. Maklom la kan, make-up da mcm cair gitu... Nak amek gamba pon mcm tk de mood... Tapi oleh kerane my favourite Cousin (Lala) was there as well, I decided to take some photos with her and my babies... hee hee...

Last kopek was at Lala's crib. Her family had already moved in to Yishun (woohoo!! suke aku!! welcome to the neighbourhood y'all!!)... And FYI, this is their 6th house... [To Lala: Foooh!! Terror betol ah korg move house here and there... (Serangoon - Toa Payoh - Bukit Timah - Brunei Darussalam - Marsiling - Yishun) Kalau aku da pancet siol... But seriously, I prefer the latest crib; warm and cozy... Tingkat 2 pulak tu... Senang jugak aku nak dtg lepak2... Dekat gilerrrrr... Aku kayoh basikal pon da bole sampai... lol] Our first day of kunjong-mengunjong ended up till 3.30 in the morning... huwaaaaaargh!! 1st time kitorg raye sakan mcm ni... Kecoh2 Raye... ahahahaha!!

Oh oh!! Just so you know... My Nikon digicam went faulty... Langsong tk bole switch on or off!! Thanks to my lovely little girl Asyura for tampering with it (tk per la wahai anak aku... kau kasi Ummi chance mintak Baba beli digital camera yg baru... mwahahahahaha!!)... pfft... Naseb baik ler Ummi kau ni ade spare digicam... The old skool type... Canon Powershot A40... I've taken quite alot of photos but could't seem to upload it up yet due to it's "old skool" software version... Leceh betol la... tsk tsk tsk... But I did managed to upload some from the other one instead... So whatever photos I have here, it's all from the Nikon digicam aaaaaaaand...., I had also seek permission from Cousin Lala [Thanks darling!! I owe you one...] to tempek some of her Hari Raya photos in my blog... hee hee...

See how la... I'll try and get all the remaining photos uploaded as soon as possible OK... At the moment, feast your lovely eyes on this one... hee hee...

P/S: Both Cousin Lala and Cousin Sharani are still single and available... So any takers for these 2 anak dare???
