What I Did During Lunch Time...

(above and below) You know earlier, I've shown you a picture of a shady area? So this is where my boss puts all his giant 'Koi' fishes.

Lunch was spent eating alone downstairs at the Office Cafeteria... I got Uncle Ah Hoe to buy me Chicken Briyani Rice (Thanks Uncle Ah Hoe)... It felt like a boring sunny afternoon so I decided to take more pictures of my work place...

My other Boss (the Lady Boss's hubby) had this passion for birds and fishes. He once said to me, "Lily ah! I tell you something ah! Keeping animals is much more better than having a scandal. Trust me..."

My boss keeps and breeds about more than 20 species of fishes including Arowanas, Discus, Tiger Barbs etc in his 3rd floor room... It's a room full of fish tanks with lots and lots of fishes... Plus like a hundred over birds consisting of Exotic Parrots, Cockatoos, Parakeets, Canaris, Magpie Robins and whatever kinds of bird that you can think of... It's like a mini 'Jurong Bird Park' here at the company's rooftop... Oh! Plus the view from the rooftop is so very nice...

June 24th was the day where my 2 little angels had their check-ups and jabs at the nearby Neighbourhood Polyclinic... Both the hubby and I, we applied a day's leave to bring the babies to the Clinic... Asil's was at 11.40am but as usual, we arrived there LATE (star karat)... So, arrived at about 12.40am, waited for his queue number to be called up and the whole thing lasted for like 30 to 45 mins...

Asyura's was at 3pm. So instead of waiting like a pair of idiots, the hubby and I, we decided to have our lunch at North Point Shopping Centre. Hubby ate Chicken Rice while I ate Chicken Noodles with, RED RUBY DESSERT!! Mwahahaha!! Thanks to my dearest cousin, LALA, I'm really really into this Red Ruby thingy... It's like a 'must have' craving... (slurp) Oh oh!! Almost forgot!! To LALA - I've tried the REB RUBY DESSERT at Fork & Spoon, Toa Payoh (the one located beside COURTS... It's so freaking DELICIOUS!! Better than North Point's...

OK, done with lunch but the hubby needed to do his Zohor prayer so we headed down to the mosque before heading back to the Polyclinic...

Asyura didn't cried much during the jab... She's a very strong little baby... Cute one too!! Then the hubby told me this, "Ummi, I'm meeting my friend somewhere in the East so you wanna tag along or you wanna go walk around somewhere with the kids?"

Me, "OK, I'll walk around with the kids... No wait, what time is it now? It's 4.15pm... OK, I don't wanna walk around... I wanna chill at Mama Poi's (the youngest aunt from the mom's side) crib..."

Hubby, "What? She's not working today?"

Me, "Working but by the time I reach her place, she'll gonna be home already..."

Hubby, "OK la... Whatever you say... I'll just drop you off there OK..."

Me, "OK... I'll call my aunt now..."

Me (calling the aunt thru the mobile phone), "Halo Mama Poi... If you're not going anywhere today, I'm gonna go to your house..."

The aunt, "Huh? Kau nak datang rumah aku? Kau bawak si kecik skali?"

Me, "Ye la, mesti la nak kena bawak si kecik... Abeh?"

Aunt, "So what time are you coming?"

Me, "Now... I'm on my way there... Rizal is meeting his friend somewhere around Tampines area so he'll drop me off at your place coz I don't wanna follow him la..."

Aunt, "Now! Cepat nye... OK, I'll get my maid to go down and jempot you up... Abeh laki kau tak naik ke?"

Me, "Naik la! Nanti diyer singgah atas lepas jumpe kawan diyer la... Dah OK... Jangan lupa balek keje cepat!! Orang datang rumah ni!!"

Aunt, "Eh! Kau ingat ni hospital, company bapak aku eh, bole balek siang...? Ye la... Nanti aku sampai la..."

Me (laughing), "OK... Whatever... See you...!!"

Arrived there and sure enough, her maid waited for us... She brought along Nur Aishah, my aunt's youngest daughter along... She's so cute!! Eeeeeeee!! Geram aku!! Macam nak cubet pipi diyer...!! So she brought us up... All my aunt's kids are home... Tasha and Rifqi, they have all grown up... My aunt, she has 3 cute cats... (pics as above) I especially like Cinta, the smallest of all her cats...

Mama Li (my mom's other sister), came at about 8.30pm with her hubby and sons... Hubby had to leave early coz he had a class to attend to... I'm supposed to leave with him as he could sent me and the babies home... But I ended up staying at my aunt's place a little longer while he left for his class...

So we chilled till 12 midnight... The thing was, I planned to take a cab home but Mama Li said she could sent me home... Alhamdulillah, less hassle for me... Thanks again to Mama Li and family for sending me and babies home... Thanks to Mama Poi and family for the cheerful hospitality... Maybe we could chill again someday... Or wait, maybe I could bring along my mom and siblings (like as if she would wanna go... pfft..)...

Last Friday, the dad-in-law gave us a nice and delicious treat at LESTARI MALAY SEAFOOD... The hubby and I, we just brought Baby Asil along coz his baby sister was fast asleep and so we left her undisturbed...

The 1st bro-in-law & family were there too. So dad-in-law ordered 2 medium-sized plates of Sweet and Sour Crabs, Steamed Fish, Hot Plate Beancurd, Fried Kang-Kong Vegetables and some rice...

After which, we headed back home and rested under the void deck of our flat and chit-chatted while laughing ourselves at Baby Asil 'dance performance'. (He's so so cute... I'll upload 1 of the videos that showed him dancing soon)

Not In The Office...

OK, hubby and I wasn't working for 2 days... Went to the doctor and complained that I had a bad migraine for the past few days and so he gave me some prescriptions...

So after visiting the doctor, we had our late lunch at Chong Pang Central before driving off to Pasir Ris Park where we sat and had our mini picnic by the beach... The scenery was so full of peace and tranquility with the wind blowing on your face... Gosh!! How I wish life would be this PEACEFUL... Just the hubby, babies and me... (sigh)

Oh ya!! I almost forgot!! Last weekend, we went to Chong Pang Central and saw this huge-ass cat lying on a chair... He's like so freaking huge... Got his picture for y'all to see plus the ones at the beach...

The Veil...

She just smiles and graciously responds reassuringly,

Well their sheer clothes and low cut gowns they are really not for me.

Hubby and I weren't working last Thursday coz Asyura had an appointment at the KKH Foot Therapy Rehabilitation Centre... So we drove down to KK Hospital bringing Asil along... I'm so grateful and happy that Asyura doesn't have to do anymore Foot Therapy coz the Therapist told me that her feet muscles are improving, alhamdulillah... BUT she can't use any baby-walker for the rest of her baby life coz if she does, her feet are gonna end up 'curled-in' again and she's gonna end up coming to the Therapy Centre and doing the Foot Therapy all over again...

We had lunch at the KKH foodcourt after that... Then, the hubby had this urge of going to Alexandra and endulge himself to a cup of Avocado Milk Juice... So I said, "Hey! Why not... Me too... I wanna endulge myself to a cup of Avocado Milk Juice!! So let's go!!"

Since my boss introduced me to this drink 6 years ago, I'm totally into it... I got the hubby to taste it and he too seemed to have a crave for it... OK, back to my story... Instead of getting a cup each, we ended up buying 2 cups of Avocado Milk Juice respectively and Lala, if you're reading my blog, the juice is way much more yummier than the Red Ruby Dessert that you and I had...!! I'll definitely drag you down to Alexandra to taste it one day... Mwahahahaha!! OK, so after that, we headed down to the nearest mosque there, Masjid Mujahiddin, where hubby did his Maghrib prayers...

After Maghrib prayers, we went to meet up with the hubby's 1st bro and his family at Chong Pang Central coz the hubby wanted to get himself a 2nd hand mobile phone and his 1st bro happened to get himself a mobile phone there also... We had dinner together at the Blue Islamic Restaurant (I just had this gut feeling that the mom's not cooking... pfft...) Dinner with his bro and family was great... Perhaps we could do it again someday... :) (pics as above)

June 6th thru June 9th...

June 6th was the day that I visited Gram with the mom, Adam and the babies... Went home from work, got the babies ready and all and we're off to see Gram... Hubby sent us to the hospital before going to his 3rd Bro's crib... So basically, Mama Poi (my mom's youngest sister) was there... I was very very happy to see her after such a long long time... The last time we met was way back in year 2002 (I think) when my eldest uncle from my mom's side passed away... Mama Yang came in a bit later with Sufi and Yaya (her kids) except for LALA who was actually at "BAR-RA-CUDA" with my other cousin, Sutinah, havin the time of their lives... (suke la tu, dapat cuci mate kat "Bar-ra-cuda"... mentel punye pompuansssss...) So, basically I spent my time there chit-chatting with Sufi about his life as a National Serviceman... There's like so many freaky ghost stories not forgetting the funny ones that Sufi shared when he's in the Police Academy (membe tak lame lagi P.O.P wo... suke la tu...) We stayed there till about 11.45pm after which the hubby came and fetched us home... Pretty tired... But I managed to do a bit of laundry till about 2am... Soon after, I went to bed... Shagged...

June 7th was Adam's birthday... Me and hubby arrived home wet coz it's been raining since morning... Arrived home, rested for awhile, got the babies ready and off we go to Geylang. We had a late lunch at Joo Chiat Complex. Bought 2 sets of Chicken Rice (breast meat), Popiah Roll and a Hotplate Bean Curd... The FOOD were deliciously yummy!! We then headed to Haig Road where we decided to get Adam (the birthday boy) a few Soccer Jerseys... But unfortunately, the shop was closed... pfft... So much for the trip... We ended up going to Giant, Tampines, where we got him a model sports car (he seems to have this 'thing' for model sports car) for his birthday present... I tell you, the look on his face when he saw his present, he was like smiling and smiling and smiling... HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADEK!! :)

June 8th was the day when my godsister got married... So we went to her wedding and it was a blast!! The food was great, the band was performing well and the wedding decorations was a huge WOW!! Very grand indeed... Nice... Especially the food... We sent the mom and siblings to Causeway Point MRT Station after which we headed to Sengkang and spent the rest of the day at the hubby's 3rd bro's crib... Played POOL, chit-chat, watched TV and everything... You know the usual stuffs you have when there's a family gathering... I especially like the giant yellow vase with tiny mirror thingy sticking on it... Oh ya and also the kitchen cabinet... Nice... Oh and also the flooring... Very nice... Reached home at half past midnight...

June 9th... Hmmm... Let me see... Thought of meeting the cousin... You know the one whom I'm so closed with, Lala but I ended up following the mom to do her mobile phone thingy at Causeway Point instead... Arrived at Causeway Point and surprisingly, the Mobile Phone Shop was closed for renovation... pfft... Freaking troublesome...!! So we ended up at the Barber Shop where we waited for Alep (my no. 2 sibling) who was getting his hair cut... Nice one... (his pics as above) Hahahaha!! No more "Mat KENTAL" haircut on that big head of his... Suke aku...!! Kalau tak, rambot diye macam hero filem Tamil!! Eeeeeee, geli aku!! So after which we got on a bus and headed down to Tampines Mall where there's this StarHub Shop and the mom went to proceed with getting a new mobile phone for Alep before heading down to the nearby hospital to see the Gram...
