I Love The Lyrics Of This Song...

Menatap indahnya senyuman diwajahmu
Membuatku terdiam dan terpaku
Mengerti akan hadirnya citra terindah
Bila kau peluk mesra tubuhku

Banyak kata yang tak mampu
Kuungkapkan kepada dirimu...

Aku ingin engkau selalu
Hadir dan temani aku
Di setiap langkah yang menyakiniku
Kau tercipta untukku
Sepanjang hidupku

Aku ingin engkau selalu
Hadir dan temani aku
Di setiap langkah yang menyakiniku
Kau tercipta untukku

Pasti waktu akan mampu
Memanggil seluruh ragaku
Ku ingin kau tahu ku selalu milikmu
Yang mencintaimu
Sepanjang hidupku..

[Tercipta Untukku by Ungu]

The lyrics of this song & how the lead vocal singer sang it, touched me till I shed my tears... You should've seen the official video clip too... Huwaaargh... Really so the very the touching...

Call me emo-ish or wateva-ish la har... But I'm just being me... If there's any kinda song lyrics that touches my heart (especially when the lyrics of those songs had something to do with the life that I'm going thru), for sure, I'll cry...

Macam minah gembeng ek aku ni?

P/S: Minah gembeng tak per... Jangan minah rep suda... lol...

Next After Pak Long's - Off To Bedok (Still In Raya Day 1)...

Woookaaaay!! A few more photos that I've uploaded via SLIDE...

This time, credits goes to Cousin Lala for some of the photos that she took with her camera... =)

My maternal Grams (Nenek Bedok) lives in Bedok (that explains her nickname la har)... As usual, we would crash over & wait till the rest of my relatives from the maternal side came over for the Raya visit...

Nenek Bedok is the only surviving Grams that I have... So yup... Satu2 nyer Nenek yang masih hidop... May Allah take good care of her for me... Amin...

Surprisingly this year, hubby & I (with our kids la har) were the 1st ones to arrive there & nenek was with Cousin Shakeir @ home... We chit chat for a while until, slowly, one by one of them; uncles, aunties & cousins came...

We decided to chill downstairs at the nearby fitness corner... Sesunggoh nyer, Nenek's crib would be very crampy when everyone of us came over for a gathering... So disebabkan tu la, hubby & I, we prefer to "ambel angen" kat bawah...

Next After In-Laws - Pak Long's (Still In Raya Day 1)...

(above) My Pak Long & Mak Long...

(above) Cousins... Khaizal & Nasheef with my kids...

(above) Cousin Sharani & me...

Next stop after visiting in-laws was to Pak Long's crib... So OK, Pak Long is my dad's eldest brother...

Eversince my paternal grams passed away, he's crib would be the 1st one we visited during Hari Raya...

Cousin Sharani was one of the cousins whom I'm very closed with from the paternal side of the family... She's the same age as me... We used to hang out together during our teenage years... Shared bitter, sweet & funny memories together... =)

One of the funniest moments that I couldn't forget was when we both went to the wrong toilet @ the old Kallang Stadium... Kitorang gi masok tandas lelaki la sei... And the best part (OK, right now I'm laughing my ass off while typing this), Sharani went in 1st (while I was right behind her) like nobody business (thinking that it's the ladies toilet) coz she obviously wanna go pee (membe da tak bole tahan) & she saw a few men doing their thing... ahahahahahaha!! Bloody hell!! We both rushed out from the toilet sia!! I still could remember the look on her face - innocent & blur plus kancong spider face... Classic sia... ahahahahaha!! Eh!! Cannot blame us you know, there's know indication whether it's the Gents or Ladies toilet... lol...

Till now, although we both are pretty much busy with our own lives, I'm glad that we still keep in touch... I remember her, & she remembers me...

We shared the same similarities - being the only daughter in our family... That's why, you could say, I'm pretty close with her... [To Sharani: Eh minah!! Aku sayang kau, kau tahu tak? No matter what decisions you make or wherever you go, you'll always have meeeee... Saaaaayang kau!!]

Hari Raya (Day 1).... - Slide No. 1

So, I divided & uploaded all my Raya photos according to the houses that we visited... Too many photos (just during the 1st day only)...

Credit goes to my Sis in-law (Muz) for some of the photos that I've uploaded via SLIDE... =)

We happened to wear the same colour baju... hee hee... But hers was far more in glamorous gold... [Moteh! Kau da mcm Saloma, kau tahu tak? hee hee...]

The above photos were taken when we went visiting our in-laws...

I Love This!! Very funny...

Picture of the shirt was taken while I went shopping @ Giant with my family...

I went to Giant Tampines Hypermarket the other day & while doing my shopping, both hubby & I laughed our lungs out when we saw this...

MISSING!!

Picture of Bike (DRAWN FROM MEMORY. MAY NOT BE TO SCALE)

MY BIKE WAS STOLEN FROM MY FRONT LAWN LAST WEEK. IT IS A ONE-SPEED BIKE WITH A SKULL FLAG AND A LIGHTNING BOLT ON IT. THE LIGHTNING BOLT AND FLAG MAY HAVE BEEN REMOVED. THIS BIKE WAS BRAND NEW FROM THE STORE.

NO REWARD

I DON'T EVEN WANT THIS BIKE BACK. I JUST MADE THESE FLYERS TO TELL YOU THAT I HATE YOU BIKE THIEF. I HOPE YOU RIDE MY BIKE WITHOUT A HELMET AND GET HIT BY A MONSTER TRUCK. I HOPE MY BIKE TAKES YOU STRAIGHT TO HELL.

I was thinking, I remembered how my BLOO got stolen before & I was actually imagining, what if, I wrote a notice that reads something like the picture above, & paste the flyers everywhere in the neighbourhood... lol...

Back In The Office... Mendak Ke Per... pfft...

"Selamat Hari Raya - Maaf, Zahir & Batin..."

So after a short holiday (Yup! 6 days of Leave were way too "siket" for me...) due to the festive season, I'm back to work... Piles of things to be done... E-mails to reply, paperworks to clear... Walao... Vomit blood!

Both of my kids didn't even feel like going to school... They kept whining & showing their tantrums the moment their Baba & Ummi woke them up for school...

Asil, "Ummiiiiiii... I don't want to go to school... I want to stay @ home with you & Adek & Baba..."

Asyura, "Ummiiiii.... I don wan go kool, I wan schleeep..."

We, parents, just smiled to each other, listening to their cries... Obviously, we did a little "sweet talking" & persuaded them in a nice way but the moment when they reached school, Asyura started crying & Asil was giving me a sad looking face (like he's gonna cry anytime the moment I leave him in the Centre)... Awwwww... I was so the very tak sampai hati to leave them but I had to... We both had to actually... Kalau tak, who would want to care & look after them while we're out working?

Our Hari Raya celebration went pretty well this year, alhamdulillah... We did the usual visits from house to house... I got to see most of my cousins, aunties & uncles whom I've not met up with, for quite some time... Miss them all... Oh! Not forgetting all those hand-made Hari Raya cookies & cakes that my aunts made... Gosh!! I ate those cookies like nobody's business sia!! They were all SUPER DELICIOUSLY GOOD!!

I know it's not nice to always be thinking of those who had passed away... But seriously, I miss my late Nenek Yishun (paternal grams) & my late uncle (Wak Mi) the most this year... Not having them around makes me feel like something's amidst... Their smile, their laughter & their hugs... Allah knows how much I miss them both...

I miss my one & only paternal aunt (Mak Ani) & her entire family who're staying in KL, Malaysia... I've longed so much to see them but I didn't have the chance to see them all... I'm glad that I got the chance to talk to her for a while on the phone during the 3rd day of Hari Raya...

To Mak Ani, Kak Ipah & family, Kak Ana, Nani : I miss you all la sei... Insya'allah, we'll meet up one day k... =') Rizal kirem salam kat sume...

Dan sesunggoh nyer raot wajah Mak Ani ku membuat ku terkenangkan kepade arwah Nenek Yishun ku... She looks exactly like my late grams (Her mom)... Wah seh... OK, I'm actually beginning to feel emo-ish right now...

Well, Hari Raya celebration lasts for the whole entire month of Syawal... Hopefully, both hubby & I, we got the time to visit the rest of our relatives within that period...

Till I blog again... Insya'allah...

P/S: I'm still thinking of all those people who, even during in this month of "bermaaf-maafan", still couldn't loose their sickening egos... Wonder what they get by it...

Salam Eid Mubarak (in advance)...

As usual, our preparations for the arrival of Syawal this year, was a simple one (ala kadar sahaje). Just a set of Hari Raya clothings & shoes coz traditional clothings for us are worn only on certain occasions like festive seasons & wedding functions... So tak yah ler bazir2 duit beli 2 3 pasang... Baju tahon2 yang lepas maseh elok lagi... heh...

Just like any other year, we would pick one colour for our family Hari Raya clothings (this is standard procedure la har)... So Hubby loves the colour (sebab membe jugak yang pileh colour tu) & I love it too!

It's just that when the actual day came for us to get the Hari Raya clothings @ Geylang Serai, there seems to be a little "glitch" in the colour concept thingy... pfft... When we got the colour that we wanted, it's either there wasn't any size available or the fabrics were way too different from what we expected... lol...

With Asil's clinging on his Baba while Asyura clinging on her Ummi, we walked to & fro (I mean we literally WALK & PAST THRU THE CROWD OF PEOPLE & SMOKE FROM THE BBQ DENDENG STALLS! WA LAO!!) in search of our baju lor... In the end we gave up & ended buying those baju that pleases our eyes the most la har & of course we still stayed true to the colour that we chose (tak dapat exact colour, the closest colour next to it pon jadi la kan... asalkan ade colour contrast)...

So don't be surprised if on the 1st day of Hari Raya, my little Asyura looks like a 'Bhangra' dancer, my little Asil looks like a 'Kung Fu' fighter, my Baba looks like "Hang Tuah" & I look like I just got married... lol...

Seriously, this year's baju Raya is such a challenge to find... Baba had to park his car right behind Joo Chiat Complex & we had to freakingly walk all the way thru out the entire Geylang Bazaar with our kids clinging on us... (>.<) Kaaaaau!! Berlendir siak ketiak!! Satu badan bau asap dageng dendeng bakar!! lol...

Kueh Raye beli pon tak banyak coz my 3rd sis-in-law [Muz] had already made some Hari Raya biscuits & cookies of her own with her mommy... So we decided to contribute a few cartons of canned drinks in the house...
[Oi Moteh! Rajen sei minah! Next year kau try la buat kek skali... Bole jugak aku testing... Kueh Raye kau, aku nak testing malam Raye nanti... hee hee...]

So we're left with cleaning up? I guess... & that's about it... heh...

You know, I was actually thinking about those months when I was pregnant with my kids... How I completed my fasting for the entire month of Ramadhan while they were still in my tummy... I'm kinda smiling @ myself right now looking back at how strong of a young mummy I was enduring the thirst & hunger during Ramadhan while conceiving both of my babies... Masya'allah... I still couldn't believe that I actually went thru all the fasting process without even skipping a single day... Alhamdulillah...

The best part was, both of my kids @ that time, were actually fasting along with me & how sweet could that be, to have your unborn babies practice fasting as early as when they were still in your tummy? It's touching much for me... Really...

I hope this experience of me fasting during both of my pregnancies would give some motivation & encouragement not only to my little Asyura, but also to all Muslim mums-to-be in the future... If you have the will to do something that benefits you, Insya'allah, you can do it... Antare nak dengan tak nak jer kan? =)

And I guess Syawal is drawing nearer & nearer to us while Ramadhan will slowly draw itself away from us... I definitely will miss Ramadhan kerane sesunggoh nyer Ramadhan tahun ini sangat la bermakne buat diri ku... Those iftar moments I had with my Baba & our kids... Just us 4...

The most memorable iftar we had as a family was the one @ Changi Beach... Where we bought the famous Changi Nasi Lemak, some fruits & drinks, then drove down to the beach & got ourselves a nice spot @ one of the picnic shelters there, enjoying the sunset while waiting for iftar... It's one of the nicest moments for us... Berbuke pose cume beralaskan surat khabar... I actually said this to my hubby, "Ba, kite dok kat pondok ni buke pose da mcm anak yatim piatu eh... Macam tak de mak bapak... Macam tak de tempat tinggal..."

Hubby's reply was, "Tak per, we still have each other & our kids & most importantly Allah, who is always there for us..."

I smiled when hubby said that but while eating, somehow, it kept me thinking of all the poor & the needy... Macamane agak nyer eh dorang sambot bulan Ramadhan & Syawal nanti? May Allah have mercy upon them... Insya'allah... Kesian dorang...

So to end my blog entry for today, I would like to wish everyone of my family members, Muslim brothers & sister & all those who know me...

"SELAMAT HARI RAYA, MAAF ZAHIR & BATIN - SALAM EID MUBARAK..."

This might sounds too early but OK la har, coz I noticed that I'm too busy to blog lately & now that I'm hook to Twitter, I seldom blog liao... hee hee... So since I've got this weeny bit of time, why not blog right?

Enjoy your holiday everyone & kalau sesape yang ade kenderaan tu, tolong la pandu berhati2 yer... =)

Till I blog again...

As Salam...
