Most relationship die not from natural causes. They are killed by ego, selfishness, neglect, lies, lack of consideration & ignorance.
The irony of those who are so very selfish in so many ways but is strangely 'unselfish' when they aim for things that only bring transient happiness of this world instead of aiming for eternal joy & bliss of the hereafter.
They don't consider how their decisions affect others. Their own convenience is all that matters. They care only about themselves, understand only their own troubles & see things only in their own perspective. Even when they realize they're wrong, they don't bother to seek forgiveness or show regrets. They get agitated, mad & defensive about certain topics they know they're completely guilty of, by playing the role of the victim. They usually find someone to be their mutual enemy when they don't want to take responsibility for themselves because it's easier putting blames on others in order to avoid taking sole responsibility.
The saying goes, "If you hang out with a brood of chickens, you're going to cluck your way digging dirt thru out your life. But if you hang out with a soar of eagles, you're going to fly your way thru the sky.."
Truth is.. Refusing to acknowledge their own mistakes only reveal their wimpiness, callousness & untrustworthiness.
To solve a problem, one has to recognize their share of responsibility. If one keeps avoiding & blaming others, issues will never be resolved.
One can avoid reality but one can never avoid the consequences of avoiding reality. At the end of the day, we all answer to the same Creator. Kifarah is real. What you give, you'll get back; if not in this world, it will be in the hereafter.
On another note, some parents wonder why the streams are so bitter when they themselves have been poisoning the fountain in the first place.. Oh wells..
